1. About Kartefy
Kartefy Global Sourcing is an online sourcing, procurement and e-commerce platform designed to help customers access products from suppliers in China and arrange their delivery to Nigeria.
Our services may include ready-to-buy product sales, custom product sourcing, business procurement assistance, supplier coordination, payment processing and logistics coordination.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By using this website or any Kartefy service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions together with our applicable policies.
These include our Shipping & Delivery Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy and Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not place an order or use services that require acceptance of them.
3. Eligibility to Use Kartefy
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding transaction when making purchases or submitting paid procurement requests through Kartefy.
If you are acting on behalf of a company, organisation or other business entity, you confirm that you are authorised to act on its behalf.
4. Customer Accounts
Certain Kartefy features may require you to create or use a customer account.
You are responsible for providing accurate account information and maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account where such activity results from your failure to reasonably protect your account credentials.
5. Product Information
We aim to provide clear and useful information about products offered through Kartefy.
Product descriptions, images, specifications, dimensions, weight, colour and other information may originate from third-party suppliers or marketplaces.
Minor differences in colour, packaging or presentation may occur due to photography, screen settings, supplier packaging updates or manufacturing variations.
A material difference affecting the nature, function or specification of the product will be handled in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable consumer rights.
6. Product Availability
Products sourced from third-party suppliers are subject to supplier availability.
An item shown on Kartefy may become unavailable before the supplier order is successfully completed.
If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we may contact you to discuss an appropriate alternative or process the affected amount in accordance with our refund procedures.
You will not be required to accept a materially different substitute product without your agreement.
7. Prices & Currency
Customer-facing prices may be displayed in Nigerian Naira or other supported currencies where available.
Supplier prices may originate in another currency and may be converted using the exchange-rate and pricing method applicable to Kartefy at the relevant time.
Product prices may include sourcing margins, procurement fees or other amounts incorporated into the displayed selling price.
The amount presented to you for confirmation at checkout will be the applicable transaction amount, subject to any clearly disclosed shipping or additional charge.
8. Pricing Errors
Although we take reasonable care when displaying prices, genuine technical, supplier-feed or administrative errors may occasionally occur.
If we identify an obvious material pricing error before procurement has been completed, we may contact you to confirm the corrected price or cancel and refund the affected transaction where appropriate.
We will not intentionally use pricing errors to mislead customers.
9. Payments
Payments are processed through the payment methods made available during checkout, which may include third-party payment processors such as Paystack.
Your order will normally proceed to procurement or fulfilment after successful payment confirmation.
Kartefy does not guarantee approval of a transaction by your bank, card issuer or payment provider.
10. Ready-to-Buy Product Orders
Products displayed through the Kartefy shop may be sourced from one or more suppliers.
When an order is confirmed, Kartefy coordinates the applicable supplier purchase and logistics process.
Multiple items within one customer order may therefore originate from different suppliers and may initially travel as separate parcels.
11. Source a Product Requests
Our Source a Product service allows customers to submit product links, photographs, descriptions or specifications for products they would like Kartefy to source.
Submitting a sourcing request does not itself create a confirmed purchase.
Where applicable, Kartefy will review the request and provide pricing, availability or other relevant information before the purchase is confirmed.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the quotation, product specifications, quantity and other information before approving a sourcing transaction.
12. Business Procurement
Our Business Procurement service is intended for businesses and customers requiring larger quantities, specialised products or supplier sourcing assistance.
A business procurement request may be subject to a separate quotation specifying products, quantities, specifications, pricing, supplier requirements, logistics arrangements and payment terms.
Where a written quotation contains specific terms for a particular procurement project, those specific terms will apply to that transaction together with these general Terms & Conditions.
13. Shipping & Delivery
Products sourced through Kartefy may first be sent by suppliers to our designated logistics or consolidation warehouse in China before international transportation to Nigeria.
Shipping costs may depend on physical weight, volumetric weight, quantity, applicable freight rates and other disclosed logistics factors.
Delivery times are estimates unless expressly confirmed otherwise.
Full details of our standard logistics process are available in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
14. Customer Delivery Information
You are responsible for providing accurate recipient information, telephone number and delivery address.
If you discover an error after placing your order, please contact Kartefy immediately.
Address changes may not be possible once a shipment has entered international transit or final local delivery processing.
15. Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an order, contact Kartefy as soon as possible.
Where procurement has not yet started, cancellation may be easier to process.
If supplier payment, procurement, preparation, transportation or other non-recoverable costs have already been incurred, reasonable charges may apply where permitted by applicable law.
Additional details are provided in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
16. Returns & Refunds
Eligible return, replacement, cancellation and refund requests are handled in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable consumer-protection requirements.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove a consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
17. Third-Party Suppliers & Service Providers
Kartefy works with third-party suppliers, marketplaces, payment providers, freight operators, warehouse partners and local delivery providers as part of the sourcing and fulfilment process.
Some parts of your order therefore depend on services performed by third parties.
Where a third-party issue affects your Kartefy order, we will make reasonable efforts to investigate and coordinate an appropriate resolution where applicable.
18. Customs & Regulatory Requirements
Products imported into Nigeria may be subject to customs, shipping, safety or regulatory requirements.
Kartefy may decline to source or ship a product where we reasonably believe that the product is prohibited, restricted, unsafe or unsuitable for the intended logistics channel.
Customers must not knowingly request products that are unlawful to purchase, import, possess or distribute.
19. Prohibited Use of the Website
You must not use Kartefy to:
- Engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity
- Submit false or misleading information
- Attempt unauthorised access to the website or customer accounts
- Interfere with the security or operation of the website
- Upload malicious software or harmful code
- Abuse quotation, payment, refund or customer-support processes
- Request products that are prohibited by applicable law

You may use the website for normal personal or business purchasing purposes, but you may not reproduce, distribute, copy or commercially exploit Kartefy-owned materials without permission.
Third-party product names, trademarks and marketplace marks remain the property of their respective owners.
21. Website Availability
We aim to keep the Kartefy website available and functional, but continuous uninterrupted access cannot always be guaranteed.
Temporary interruption may occur because of maintenance, technical issues, hosting problems, security updates or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
22. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be prohibited by applicable law.
Kartefy will not rely on these terms to exclude responsibility for fraud, deliberate misconduct, negligent conduct, material misrepresentation, defective performance or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, responsibility for losses will be assessed according to the circumstances of the transaction, the nature of the service and the legal rights available to the customer.
23. Events Outside Reasonable Control
Sourcing and international logistics can be affected by circumstances outside Kartefy’s reasonable control.
These may include:
- Severe weather
- Transportation disruption
- Customs delays or inspections
- Government restrictions
- Supplier shutdowns
- Port, airport or freight disruption
- Public emergencies
- Network or infrastructure failures
Where such circumstances materially delay an order, we will make reasonable efforts to provide appropriate updates.
24. Privacy
Kartefy processes customer information required to operate the website, manage transactions, provide sourcing services and coordinate delivery.
Details about how personal information is collected, used, shared and protected are provided in our Privacy Policy.
25. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions when reasonably necessary to reflect changes to our services, website, operational processes or applicable requirements.
The current version will be published on this page with its effective date.
Changes will not be used to retrospectively remove rights that already apply to a completed transaction.
26. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are intended to operate in accordance with the applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Nothing in these terms restricts access to any complaint, regulatory or legal remedy available to a consumer under applicable law.
27. Contacting Kartefy
If you have questions about these Terms & Conditions, an order or any Kartefy service, please contact our support team.
When contacting us about an existing transaction, please include your order number where available so we can assist you more efficiently.
Your Consumer Rights
These Terms & Conditions are not intended to exclude, waive or restrict any consumer right, warranty, remedy or supplier obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Nigerian law.
